The Lamar Building is also very conveniently located within the Downtown area.  Approximately three dozen restaurants are within walking distance.  The building is also convenient to many banks, retail shops, the Post Office, several museums (the Morris Museum of Art, the National Science Center, the Augusta Museum of History), and a number of parks (the Augusta Commons and the Riverwalk).

The easy access to all of these destinations will mean that a company’s employees will be able to eat lunch, run errands and relax without ever having to get into their cars and perhaps be delayed in returning to the office because of traffic.
