The Coffee Break Café is located on the first floor providing breakfast and lunch daily for take out, dining in or catering service.
Conference Rooms are available for tenants use and are equipped with cable and high speed internet connections, TV and VCR.
An outside dry cleaning service provides pick up and delivery on Monday and Thursday.
Our elevators meet all handicapped code requirements, including automatic shutdown and lobby recall with telephones in cabs and beautifully appointed interiors.
MAIL AND OVERNIGHT DELIVERY
U.S. mail and overnight drop-off boxes are located on the first floor and are checked daily around 5:30PM.
FIRE SAFETY/SECURITY CAMERAS
The Lamar Building has a complete sprinkler system throughout the building. Security cameras provide surveillance of the parking lot, the entrances and other critical areas to insure the safety of tenants.
HEATING, VENTILATION AND AIR CONDITIONING
Unlike buildings with a large amount of glass on the exterior where there can be vast changes in temperature from morning to afternoon because of sun exposure, The Lamar Building’s thick masonry exterior insures that comfortable temperature are maintained throughout the day and throughout the year. Nine separate zones of temperature control are provided on each floor, allowing for occupants to adjust the temperature for their individual preferences.

Kelley B. New, a graduate of the New York School of Design, is available to assist tenants in decorating their offices.
The Lamar Building is wired with state-of-the-art technology infrastructure, providing secure high speed internet access as well as the ability to add additional services, such as voice services, video conferencing, and other new technologies as they progress.
The Lamar Building has complete in-house janitorial service with a separate daytime and nighttime staff. Many of our janitorial employees have been with us for a number of years and have proven to be very efficient and comprehensive. Our Janitorial Supervisor, Wanda Watkins, carefully monitors the work of her staff and is available to address any concerns of our tenants.
Marble floors and brass elevator doors in the first floor lobby reflect the elegance of the by-gone era when the building was built. A directory and event board direct visitors to the proper offices.

Parking is available in the Campbell Lot immediately behind the Lamar Building as well as in another lot across Reynolds Street.
POST OFFICE DROP BOX
A drop-off box for U.S. Mail is located in the main lobby. Mail is picked up and delivered Monday through Friday twice daily, and also once on Saturday. Federal Express also has a box in the building which is serviced daily.
There are restroom facilities on each floor in compliance with all handicapped requirements.
Lamar Building personnel are on site in the building and parking lot throughout the day. Additionally, security cameras constantly monitor the parking lot, the entrances and other strategic locations. An ADT Security Entry Access System is provided for Tenant safety. The entry card, issued by management of The Lamar Building, provides building access after hours, on weekends and during holidays. A $25.00 refundable deposit is required for each card for accountability.
The windows in the building are double-glazed, thermo-pane, custom-fabricated double-hung windows with thermal breaks. They are designed and extruded to duplicate the original window detail.
